Qualification achieved - L3 NVQ Diploma in Heritage Skills (Construction)- Wood Occupations
Gary was a bursary student on the Foundations in Heritage bursary programme in 2014. His main employer was Emyr Davies ei Fab and on the bursary scheme he spent most of his time working at Cardigan Castle, which has just won BBC Restoration of the Year.

On completing the Bursary Scheme I continued to work with my placement provider for 3 years. This work included the restoration at Cardigan Castle; the rebuilding of the circular balcony at the Coed Y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre, the new primary schools in Tenby, and Lampeter and the renovation of a 110 year old holiday cottage near New Quay (Wales).
And now . . .
Earlier this year I decided to become self-employed which was always my goal. So far I've been able to secure interesting work.
