The team at the Tywi Centre have supported people with the care and repair of old buildings for the past 9 years. We have provided inspirational and enlightening information which really shows that looking after old buildings isn’t as challenging as people initially imagine – after all, many of our old buildings have been looked after well enough to stay standing for 100’s of years. It is only in the last 50 or so where we have lost some of that knowledge.
The Tywi Centre has won awards for good practice and our training and advice continues to celebrate buildings and culture from Wales and across the UK. We want to ensure that all those who take part in our training courses or use us for advice feel that they are the custodians of a truly wonderful part of Wales' and the UK's built heritage.
