Seminar on the Development of Listed Buildings in Carmarthenshire's Town Centres: recognising the challenges
The aim of the seminar is to promote understanding and offer support to those who are wanting to develop Listed Buildings, particularly for those changing their use and occupancy levels.
The seminar will be held on Friday 24th June at Carmarthen Library, 9 St Peter’s Street, Carmarthen, SA31 1LN and will include presentations from Nell Hellier, Senior Built Heritage Officer, and Helen Rice, Acting Senior Development Manager, with Built Heritage Officers James Yeandle and Matt Pyart on hand for a Question-and-Answer session.
We will also take this opportunity to introduce you to the 4 Conservation Area Appraisals which have been undertaken in Carmarthen Town, Lammas Street, Priory Street and Picton Terrace and give you an opportunity to feed back your thoughts and ideas on the appraisals and proposed boundary alterations.
The doors will open at 9am with the proceedings starting at 9:15 and closing at 12:30. Following this there will be an Open Consultation Session where officers will remain available until 16:00 to discuss the Conservation Area Appraisals.
