Tom Duxbury has a new string to his bow- carpenter, conservation officer, tutor, assessor and now- film presenter! Tom has been working with the talented team at Akron Productions to produce a series of short films. The topics include Common defects in traditional buildings; slaking lime; hot mixed lime and aggregates for lime mortars. These films are a fantastic way of being able to continue crucial heritage skills training- even during lockdown.
The Tywi Centre were commissioned to produce these films by the Welsh Traditional Buildings Forum. The films will be available through the WTBF website soon.
