Tywi Centre showcases their work at a top event for the owners of listed building properties

Llandeilo-based Tywi Centre recently showcased their work at a top event for the owners of listed properties.
Nell Hellier, Twyi Centre's Senior Built Heritage Officer, gave a presentation at The Listed Property Show - South West, organised by The Listed Building Property Owners Club, in association with Historic England. Suppliers of historic building materials, experts and enthusiasts came together under one roof.

The club is an fantastic source of information and advice on the maintenance, responsibilities and obligations of ownership of Britain’s protected buildings. The event was held at The Passenger Shed at Bristol’s Temple Meads Station and gave an opportunity to gather information and expert advice. The club brought together the industry’s best, saving building owners money, time and stress.

“The day went very well and was attended by people from across Wales, Cornwall and The Midlands,” explained Nell. “I gave a presentation on lime and why it is essential for the care and repair of your listed building.

“It was very well-received with lots of pertinent questions afterwards and further questions when people then came to my stall. ”The Tywi Centre promotes the care and repair of the old buildings of West Wales through providing information, training and support to homeowners, builders, agents and building professionals.
