We have developed a new course to support owners of listed buildings through what may seem like a very complex process: Listed Building Consent – a step by step guide to making changes to your historic home.
Caring for our listed buildings isn’t about preserving them in the past, it is about ensuring that they remain useful, viable and valuable for future generations. Obtaining listed building consent is a way to ensure that the changes that owners make to their listed buildings retain these heritage values for the nation to enjoy in years to come.
The process can seem complicated, so the day-long online course we have developed guides owners and custodians of historic buildings through, step by step, from pre-application to completion stage. We are also able to guide you towards further information to help you with your application including the 1:1 surgeries that the Tywi Centre offers.
