Landscape and Biodiversity Grants were for capital expenditure up to £5,000 for landscape and biodiversity enhancements.  This element of the programme allocated and administered grants to landowners and farmers to enable them to restore, create, enhance and conserve habitat, biodiversity and landscape, and implement actions to protect habitats and species that reflected priorities as identified with the Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP).  22 grants of a cumulative value of £92,901 were allocated.

The Cultural Heritage Grants programme offered grants of between £1,000 and £15,000 to community Groups and organisations.  The grants supported activities that promoted and celebrated Carmarthenshire’s cultural distinctiveness.  A total of £519,101 was distributed to 55 projects.  Details of the projects can be found at the Carmarthenshire Heritage Projects Website.
